Some things deserve better than what they ship with.

Each bezel is lathe-turned from 316 stainless steel and hand-finished after. Every contact surface is chamfered and polished, nothing sharp, nothing that catches uncomfortably in hand. The edges are worked until they feel settled, like a thing that has been used for years rather than just made. After turning and finishing, the Jelly Smith logo is laser-engraved on the exterior, and a unique serial number is marked on the inside. A small detail, but one that matters when you care about what you carry.

The design draws from the clean, restrained curves of HDS flashlights, a standard of proportion that is difficult to improve upon. That same sensibility guided the profile of both versions offered here.

The smooth bezel sits low and clean, close in character to the stock A113, easy to carry daily and untroubled by air travel restrictions. The crenellated bezel runs slightly longer, with a tapered front edge that keeps the beam pattern clear. Beyond aesthetics, the crenellations serve a practical purpose: when the torch is set down head-first, the raised crown holds it at a slight angle, enough to catch your eye, enough to tell you the light is still on before the battery tells you first.

Compatibility is straightforward. The Alpha bezel fits the Alpha. The Bravo bezel has been tested and confirmed to fit the Bravo, Charlie, and Bones. Thread dimensions have been checked carefully against aluminum bodies, and the fit on every light I’ve tested has been exact.

These are not mass-produced parts. They are lathe-turned in small numbers, finished by hand, and marked individually. That is the only way they have ever been made.
